Love Community, Pray for All People, Serve the World
February 2012
“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
1 John 3:18
Let this year at Grace be the year that will live out our faith in Jesus Christ by Loving our Community, Praying for All People and Serving the World!
2012 is a new year at Grace Presbyterian Church. The Lord Jesus Christ calls us to love our neighbor as ourselves, but what does this mean? It means we lay down our lives for one another in love, prayer and service. This year at Grace let us join together in reaching out to our community through service projects, prayer and love. When Jesus lived out his ministry he went from town to town performing miracles, loving, and forgiving those he met along the way. Our lives are a daily journey of living out our faith and we must never forget to reach out to others, helping our neighbors shovel snow, or giving out a gift card to someone in need, or serving at a Soup Kitchen, opening our church as a shelter and so forth. We can be the light of Christ through our love for one another and our service to our community.
Blessings,
Pastor Rachel
