Love One Another

By Ms. Candace Whitman, Pastoral Intern
Sunday, September 27, 2009

Sermon Text: I John 3:11-15
Sermon Theme

The writer of I John reiterates the command given by Jesus to love one another, in order that we will be known as his disciples. But whom are we to love? With what kind of love? And how? The command seems impossible, and the stakes seem so high.  The scripture gives us clues that for Christians, yes, there may be hindrances in the heavenlies, but we are also empowered to love by God himself.
