Nothing Good

Sermon Text: Romans 7:14-25
Sermon Theme

We, as Christ-followers, are refined by the love and grace of God.  In the midst of sin, God’s love wins.  When it comes to generosity, we don’t always act as though God’s love wins.  We become callous to the love of God, and this flows into our approach to giving time and money.

Questions for Us
  1. How does Romans 7:15 apply to your view of or behavior with money? (What I want to do, I do not do, but what I hate, I do.)
  2. What are some ways you can practice ‘joyful generosity’ apart from giving money?
  3. We are formed by what we worship and by how we worship. How is worship forming you?
