Sermon Text: I Corinthians 15
Sermon Theme
“And Jesus Christ our Lord was shown to be the Son of God when God powerfully raised him from the dead by means of the Holy Spirit. Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority to tell people everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name.” Romans 1:4-5.
Look at this conversation between Jesus and Martha in John 11:24 -26 concerning the resurrection: Martha said to Jesus, “I know that he (the son of God) will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
Do you believe this? We each in our own heart and lives have a story… a journey OF faith or TOWARD faith or a STRUGGLE of faith… Let us take a moment to search our heart for our story of faith … Have you taken the step of faith that it takes to believe in Jesus Christ that HE is God and your savior in this life and the next… The Bible Says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” ... Believe and receive the gift of eternal life knowing that you have been saved by grace through faith in Him.
