Sermon Theme
God sent our high school mission trip home with me a message for us: SEE the hurt around you, Be Moved with COMPASSION, and SERVE. And when you serve: be present, do what you can and get help for what you can’t do. God sent our team home with a powerful message. It is one you and I can take home. We can do this. Just keep your eyes open, keep your heart open and keep your options open. That is exactly what Jesus is telling us in the parable of the Good Samaritan. The way Luke frames this parable, is as an answer to the question: “How do I get real life?”
